JOB SUMMARY – CONSTRUCTION LOAN SERVICING SPECIALIST
Responsibilities for the Loan Servicing Specialist position include:
- The monitoring of insurance coverage on collateral properties as well as the efficient processing of insurance and tax escrow payments
- Draw management
- Preparing loan payoff statements
- Satisfying loan pay-offs
- Processing other lending related payments
- Providing good customer service while servicing Sound Equity loans
The position will require a working knowledge and adherence to all policies and procedures of the lender as well as applicable regulations and laws. The individual will establish a general knowledge of current new construction lending regulations and the features/benefits of Sound Equity’s loan products and services.

- Ability to communicate clearly
- Proficient writing and mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Good computer skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
EDUCATION / TRAINING
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- BS or BA degree in related field of study preferred
- Specialized loan servicing education/training recommended
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in loan servicing or related positions normally required
